Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIPs) are being drawn up for Oxford, Witney and other towns across the county for OCC and Bladon PC would like to contribute to a rural version of these plans.
We have put together a draft map of Bladon’s walking and cycling routes, shared with cars, that shows Primary routes; Connecting routes; Key trip generators within the village; External trip generators; Key junctions. *Public walking paths/bridleways are not included in this exercise, though on-road routes to the starting point of those paths should be.
The maps will gradually evolve to include all the long- and short-term improvements we would like to see – safer routes for cycling, walking, horse riding; more crossings; wider pavements; lower speed limits etc.
