Parish Council Elections – Consider Standing as a Councillor

Local parish council elections will be taking place soon, and we are encouraging residents to consider standing as a Parish Councillor.

Parish councillors play an important role in representing the community, helping make decisions about local services, facilities, and the future of our parish. It’s a rewarding opportunity to have a direct say in local issues and help shape the place where we live.

If you care about the parish and would like to contribute to your community, please consider putting yourself forward as a candidate.

Nomination Papers may be obtain from the offices of the Retuning Officer, Council Offices Woodgreen, Witney, OX28 1NB Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. They may alternatively be obtained from the Clerk.

Nomination deadline: Forms to be return to WODC offices in Witney by 4pm  on the 9th April 2026
Election date: 7th May 2026
