Bladon Parish Council is holding a public meeting regarding the Botley West Solar Farm at the Methodist Church on Monday, 28 November, at 7.30pm.
Dominic Hare, CEO of Blenheim, Professor Richard Harding from CPRE (the Campaign to Protect Rural England) and Andy Graham (OCC) will be there. In addition, we have invited Robert Courts and a representative from PVDP (the developer), but their attendance hasn’t yet been confirmed.
The speakers will be given time to share their views on the project, followed by a Question Time-style Q&A. Please send your questions in advance to the Clerk at bw_consultation@bladon-pc.gov.uk, or in writing at the door. This is to avoid repetition and ensure we cover as many topics as possible. The speakers will then be dismissed and the remainder of the meeting will be open discussion.
This is not a consultation meeting but an opportunity for residents to inform themselves about the project and to help the Parish Council in its response to the first stage of the official Consultation, which it must submit by 15 December.
Please note that this meeting will prioritise issues that face Bladon residents. There is very limited space in the Methodist Church and unfortunately, no parking. A summary of the meeting will be posted on the Bladon Parish Council website, bladon-pc.gov.uk as soon as is practical after the meeting.
