The Parish Council has been provided with the following information from Blenhiem about this year’s shooting season.
The public rights of way will remain open and staff have been briefed that no one should be prevented from walking them. There will be a member of the team located on the footpath just to advise and inform people that they are shooting at that time.
Permissive paths will have clearer signage and staff will also be there to advise and inform people that they are shooting at that time.
A shoot drive lasts around 40 minutes, and that member of staff will be able to answer any questions walkers may have.
The shoots have also been moved away from The Lince area of Bladon and the community path.
