WODC have announced a public consultation focusing on the draft objectives of the Council’s updated Local Plan, which covers the overall approach to future development sites and opportunities across the district for the next 20 years. If you have concerns about the scale of development across West Oxfordshire and how decisions on where development is appropriate are made, the Council would like to have your comments.
The Local Plan is a legal requirement to guide Council approaches to Planning applications, large and small. Current priorities include consideration of the climate emergency; creating and maintaining healthy, strong and inclusive communities; meeting housing needs for all and encouraging a resilient and diverse local economy.
